Dear Admiral,
I just returned from a recent vacation in San Francisco, where I noticed many of the city's residents using its streets and alleys to relieve themselves. I found it particularly surprising that no one appeared to have any sense of shame or inhibition about doing so.
As resident of one of the more socially conservative states in the union, I found this attitude to be a refreshing reflection of the joie de vive of San Francisco residents. Bravo to you for throwing off the repressive mores of Amerika, City by the Bay!
I was also wondering, is public urination a right restricted just to San Francisco residents, or can tourists and other visitors do it as well? Please let me know, as I will be returning to the city on business in the next few months.
When in Rome,
Curious in Kansas
