My Good Admiral,
Far be it from me to question your historical veracity. But I have a few minor corrections to make with respect to your previous message. To wit:
* In actuality, Afghanistan is a landlocked nation and has no seaports or navigable rivers.
* Bananas are not a staple of the Afghani economy, and bananas are rarely found in the country. In fact, fruit of any kind is rarely found in the country.
* The "Day-O Song" you refer to (actually called "Banana Boat") was recorded by Harry Belafonte in 1957, predating the earliest known origin of the Taliban by some 35 years.
* The lyrics of the song do not state "Come Mr. Taliban," but rather "Come Mr. Tallyman," referring to the banana boat foremen working the docks in Kingston, Jamaica -- not Afghanistan.
These are but minor points. I'm sure your strategy, if implemented with sufficient vigor, would prove successful.
Yours,
Prof. Dr. Emeritus Maximus
