Admiral, The fellas and I will be coming ashore in your port sometime soon, and are worried about appropriate dress. Our typical shore-leave garments are snappy gladiator-type outfits, replete with leather and metal studs. Now, our concern is that the metal studs might become moist(the fog), frozen by the cold, and stick to our skin. We'd hate to lose some skin when it's time to lower the yard arm and swab the poop deck, if you get my meaning. Please ask your medical staff to advise us.
