On a recent trip to San Francisco, I too,noticed the San Franciscans knack for public urination. I do not know how your legal community looks at this, with their rules and regulations. Having traveled around Asia and Europe including England and the Netherlands I can say that this is not an unusual sight. It actually gives San Francisco an international tone to the city. As a woman the sight of a penis relieving the bladder in public is both non threatning and non offense to me. Perhaps low cost open-aire urinals would provide a sanitary alternative to this situation while eliminating the problems associated with convential restrooms. This would provide your citizens quick releif while continuing on their way. Criminal activity would be non existant as passerbys would witness any attempt at foul play.I just hope that the designers will make them female user friendly. Then maybe Americans will relax their views on modesty.
